Fanshawe offers both on-campus residence and off-campus housing support so students can choose what fits their lifestyle best. On-campus residence — in either traditional apartment-style suites or townhouse-style units — is fully furnished, includes modern amenities, and is guaranteed for first-year full-time students who apply and complete payment by the deadline. Apartment-style suites typically feature private bedrooms, shared kitchen/living areas, bathrooms, and optional meal plans. Townhouse-style units offer more private bedrooms and full kitchens, giving more independence.

For students who prefer to live off-campus, Fanshawe helps by providing access to community rental listings, roommate/sublet matching, tenant-rights resources, and guidance for safe and affordable housing outside campus. They also offer housing-mediation services to help with landlord or roommate issues, and resources on rental agreements, tenancy rights, and maintaining housing security.
