University Child Care

To accommodate the growing child-care needs of Western community members, Western offers access to an on-site licensed child-care program operated by the   YMCA of Southwestern Ontario.  The University Child Care Centre offers full- and part-time care for children ages 2 weeks to 4 years old. The University Child Care Centre is participating in the CWELCC (Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care) Agreement.

Applications to the University Child Care Centre are managed through the City of London’s   OneList. The centre regularly experiences high demand, and there is typically a waitlist for child-care spots, even for university community members.

Western has a limited number of reserved spaces at the centre. If you are a Western main campus faculty member, staff member or student, please contact the centre directly after your child is registered on the OneList to inform them of your Western status.
