Western Mustangs

The Western Mustangs are Western University’s varsity athletic teams, competing in Ontario University Athletics (OUA) and U SPORTS. There are 46 varsity teams across 21 men’s and 19 women’s sports, including football, basketball, soccer, hockey, volleyball, track & field, rowing, and more.

Home Venues:

• Western Alumni Stadium – football and large events
• Thompson Arena – hockey and ice sports
• Western Student Recreation Centre – volleyball, basketball, and indoor sports

Get Involved:

• Attend games and cheer on the Mustangs
• Join student sport clubs or try out for a team
